Patients will be charged a full fee for the GP consult and will be able receive a Medicare Rebate on the spot if their bank accounts details are registered with Medicare. Invoices can be provided to the patient if they choose to submit the Medicare claim themselves. Phone tap services may not work, so please bring your physical bank card to process payments and claims.

A 1.5% surcharge applies for credit card payments. We encourage patients to bring their physical bank card to process Medicare rebates on the spot.

FEE STRUCTURE

Our fees are structured based on how much time you spend with the doctor for the consult as well as any procedures involved (e.g. suturing of wounds). General practices do not receive funding from the government to provide health services. These fees help us cover the costs of operating the practice so that we can continue to provide you our services in a sustainable manner without compromising quality.
