DR MINOKA JAYATILEKE
Principal GP

Dr Minoka Jayatileke is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She completed her medical degree at the University of Colombo. Early in 2001 she migrated to Australia, where she completed her internship at Westmead Hospital.

​

She completed her FRACGP training with the GP Logic Central West NSW in 2008. She has furthered her training in her interests, with qualifications for paediatrics (Diploma of Child Health from University of Sydney),

​

Since then, she has worked in group practices in Bathurst, Dural, Rouse Hill, Kellyville and Cherrybrook prior to starting her own practice in Thornleigh.


Minoka enjoys all aspects of general practice including general medicine, women’s health, elderly care and paediatrics.

​

Dr Minoka is fluent in Sinhalese and English.

DR JOHN PEMBROKE
GP

Dr John Pembroke is a GP registrar in the Nepean, Western and Northern Sydney region. After graduating in medicine from the University of New South Wales, he  worked as a resident medical officer at Hornsby Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital, Mona Vale Hospital and The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

 

Dr Pembroke has experience in general medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, palliative care and women's health to name a few. He also completed the Sydney Child Health Program diploma. He enjoys all types of medicine with special interests in paediatric and aged-care medicine.

 

In his free time, he enjoys bushwalking, playing drums and spending quality time with his wife, family and friends.

DR SAGARIKA MALLAWARACHCHI
GP

Dr Sagarika graduated from her Medicine studies in 2002. She moved to Australia with her husband and two daughters in 2012 and endeavoured to pursue a GP career. Her vast medical knowledge stems from her past medical experiences working in Sri Lanka and Australia. Sagarika is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Sagarika enjoys every aspect of general practice and has a keen interest in mental health, women's health, children's and adolescents’ health.

​

Her focus in medicine has centered on building strong rapport with her patients to help them achieve optimal health outcomes that would impact their lives in a positive way. 

​

In her leisure time, Dr Ssgarika enjoys travelling to various countries and immerse herself in different cultures. When not travelling, she loves to cook for her loving family.

Nina graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (hearing & speech major) followed by a Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced studies) in 2017.

 

Nina has been part of our team since 2018. She cherishes the rewards and challenges that come with delivering care in the primary health setting. Nina enjoys working with patients from vast backgrounds and is very dedicated to bringing tailored care to each patient she meets.

​

Outside of work, Nina enjoys listening to various podcasts, reading, hiking, catching up with friends/family and binging on a good Korean drama series. She is also a keen movie-goer and reformer pilates student. These days she's particularly interested in mindfulness and finding ways to help herself stay grounded and balanced.

​

Nina is fluent in English, Cantonese and Vietnamese. 

DIVYA PRABAKRISHNAN
Psychologist

​Divya Prabakrishnan is a dedicated registered psychologist with a wealth of experience in both mental-health hospitals, where she facilitated group therapy sessions, and private practice settings for one-on-one therapy for over 5 years.

​

Divya's expertise spans a wide range of mental health issues including Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Mood Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Addiction, Behavioural Issues, Relationship Issues, Coping Skills, Self-esteem, Self-harming, Trauma, and PTSD. Her approach is holistic, emphasizing the importance of addressing psychological, emotional, and behavioural aspects to promote comprehensive well-being.

​

With a passion for empowering individuals on their mental health journeys, Divya's goal is to help her clients not just survive, but thrive. Her therapeutic approach involves a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

​

She believes in fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop effective coping strategies to lead fulfilling lives.

​

Divya currently works with us on TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS and FRIDAYS.

NINA TU
Registered Nurse

DILHAN JAYAMANNE
Physiotherapist

Dilhan graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 and has since excelled in the field of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy. He further added to his skill-set by attaining a Master of Manual Therapy at the University of Western Australia.

 

Having worked extensively in private practice and gaining exposure to a wide variety of conditions Dilhan prides himself on accurately diagnosing one’s problem and tailoring an individualised treatment approach to achieve their goals.

 

He predominantly uses a ‘hands-on’ approach to treatment and exercise based therapy in order to resolve the symptoms as well as addressing the cause of the underlying problem.

​

Dilhan currently works with us on MONDAYS and FRIDAYS.

​

JUN PARK
Podiatrist and Physiotherapist

Jun is a dual qualified practitioner - Physiotherapist and Podiatrist. He graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2016 with a Bachelor of Podiatry and graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2020 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. 

​

Jun has a deep understanding of what causes pain and disability, and what works and what does not work. Jun likes to utilise hands-on modalities in conjunction with the latest technologies. These modalities allow Jun to identify where the problem is and reach an outcome that is often quicker with lasting results.

​

Jun currently works with us on WEDNESDAYS.
